These are Roastbox Terms and Conditions of e-commerce trading. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time here. Roastbox.co.uk reserves the right to update and change the Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to the Roastbox.co.uk website. You are advised to check the Terms of Service from time to time for any updates or changes that may impact you.
E-COMMERCE TRADING TERMS
These terms of order in no way affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
No contract will exist between you and Roastbox.co.uk for the sale of any product unless and until Roastbox.co.uk accepts your order by e-mail confirming that it has dispatched your product. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Roastbox.co.uk sends the e-mail to you (whether or not you receive that e-mail). Items can not be bought for resale without prior permission. Roastbox.co.uk reserves the right refuse any order which is deemed to have not been conducted in the correct way or where any foul play may have taken place. Items cannot be bought for use in coffee competition without the express permission of Roastbox.co.uk, and we reserve the right to refuse to supply. Roastbox.co.uk also retains the right to not complete any order it wishes to do so providing that the monies have not been taken or a full refund is given. By placing an order and giving credit card details on our secure server you the consumer is bound and contracted to complete the sale unless Roastbox.co.uk decides otherwise.
ROASTBOX REFUND POLICY
If goods are returned due to being faulty, so long as they are returned within a reasonable time the remedy afforded to the customer, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), is a refund. Also, where a consumer exercises his cancellation rights the customer will be given a refund within 30 days of their cancellation.
You the consumer are given the right to cancel as required by the Distance Selling Regulations (to not include beans that are ground or roasted to your personal specification). You the consumer have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason. The cancellation period in the case of contracts for the supply of goods begins with the day on which the contract is concluded. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. You the consumer can be asked to return and pay for the cost of returning the goods. Further information on this can be found on the Department of Trade and Industry Website. Roasted coffee is excluded from these terms.

Roastbox.co.uk take credit card orders from most major credit cards.
All of our card transactions are processed through https://stripe.com payment gateway:

We get deliveries of fresh roasts every Monday and Thursday from our suppliers. This ensures that all our coffees are delivered to you fresh for the best possible experience. Most items will be dispatched the next day from order purchase.
• Royal Mail 1st Class. Aims to deliver within 1 working day.
This is not a guarantee but an aim. Royal Mail will not class an item as lost or missing for 15 working days.
Please get in touch if you have not received your order within 7 working days of dispatch.
NEXT DAY DELIVERY
• Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class. Will deliver the next working day.
Please note all subscriptions will be sent via Royal Mail. At present there is no option for them to be sent via other couriers. Subscriptions must be ordered on their own. All subscriptions are sent on Wednesdays.
PRODUCTS & GIFTS EXCEEDING £50
All products exceeding £50 in value will be sent using Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class post and will deliver the next working day
DELIVERY OUTSIDE THE UK
• Royal Mail Airmail . Aims to deliver items within 5 working days.
No guarantee of delivery on these times, this is an aim. Post may take up to 28 days.
Subscription coffee includes free delivery within the UK.
Delivery prices are priced on weight and will be added automatically when an order is placed. This will be broken down into the component of price and delivery charge, and shown transparently as a separate line on the order prior to payment confirmation. The final price will be in pounds sterling (unless otherwise stated). Roasted speciality coffee is not subject to VAT.
OUR DELIVERY AIM
If you place your order before 2pm on a roasting day, it is our aim to process and dispatch your order on that day. Any orders after 2pm may be processed on the subsequent roasting day.
None of this can be guaranteed. Roastbox can not be held responsible for operational issues and delays.
We are closed on all national bank holidays including Christmas day and Boxing Day.
HOW FRESH ARE OUR ROASTS?
We get two deliveries per week of fresh roasts from our suppliers. This ensures that all our dispatched coffee is fresh so you can experience roasts at their best.
We will in every case acknowledge complaints within 7 working days.
We will in every case advise the consumer how long it will take to resolve the complaint.
We will in every case keep the consumer informed throughout the process.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. We use the information we collect about you to process orders. Roastbox.co.uk do not and will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
When you order, we need to know your name, e-mail address, telephone, and delivery address. This allows us to process and fulfil your orders.
